Known best for Pick-Your-Own or Pre-Picked STRAWBERRIES and PUMPKINS, you can also Pick-Your-Own red and black raspberries at Barefoot Farm. Pumpkin season also offers cut-your-own sunflowers!
Our ICE CREAM SHOP (open during picking seasons) is located in the 200+ year old summer house and serves sandwiches (soup on weekends) and some of the creamiest hand-dipped ice cream. A favorite on the menu is our "signature" strawberry sundae, made with our very own fresh strawberry topping. You'll love our milk shakes & home-made waffle cones (delicious plain or dipped in chocolates, some with p-butter, Oreos, sugared pecans etc). Eat at picnic tables under the cherry tree or sit on the front porch swing.
PUMPKIN season begins the last weekend in Sept thru Oct. Enjoy our children's straw fort (a free activity), a corn box & scheduled hay rides($3). We grow a LARGE variety of decorative pumpkins and gourds, fresh cut sunflowers, Indian corn, broom corn etc. Try our apple dumplings, apple & pear cider and pumpkin ice cream! Fall birthday parties, hay rides & field trips are available as well. Just call us for details.
STRAWBERRY season (typically last weekend of May thru June)will enlighten you to the sweetness of fresh picked berries compared to those from a store. Picking your own strawberries often becomes a fun family tradition. On hot days, our misting fan is a fun & refreshing place to gather. RASPBERRY season begins in mid June with red raspberries, followed by black raspberries.
