About Us:
The Kromer family farm is nestled at the ends of Forks and Lower Mount Bethel Townships since 1933. Dairy was the order of the day until 1998, when we left the dairying business and began to grow a few pumpkins which we sold wholesale.
In 2000 we opened a fall market at the farm with pumpkins, Indian corn, and gourds.
In July of 2004, we opened a produce stand on the farm along with our fall activities.
In 2005, we offered a CSA, to bring together community members, farmers, and agricultural land in a relationship of the survival of local agriculture today and for future generations. Community members pay the farmer an annual fee, in return for a weekly share of the vegetables harvested during the growing season.
