North Star Orchards began in 1986 on State Route 233 in Westmoreland, New York by George and Elaine Joseph. Their small roadside stand started with only selling what they grew themselves which included sweet corn, apples and pumpkins.
Over the years, George & Elaine's dedication and hard work grew the size of the business, the length of their season and products they offered to customers.
Nothing came easy, but George's foresight for potential growth and expansion has pushed the market and farm in the right direction for over thirty years.
Today, we are open nine months a year and offer a wide variety of products and services.
