At the Soons Orchards Farm Market you'll find a country store chock full of our homegrown apples (we grow 55 kinds!), real apple cider, homegrown and local fruits and vegetables, delicious homemade pies and lots of special goodies like our own apple cider donuts, homemade fudge, homemade prepared foods and apple sauce, fresh-ground nut butters, jams and jellies, maple syrup, honey and more.
Next door to our farm stand is the very cool Orchard Hill Cider Mill Tap Room - offering a menu of yummy meals and snacks, hand crafted cocktails and a finely curated selection of NYS wines, beers, spirits & of course, our Orchard Hill homegrown-homemade hard ciders.
You'll also find a wonderful fall afternoon outing in New York's Lower Hudson Valley, with apple picking and pumpkin picking (mid-Sept. into Oct.), and hay wagon rides to our pumpkin patch (pumpkins on the actual vine? yes!). Our pick your own apples and u-pick pumpkins are super fun for the whole family, so bring the kids and the grandparents too! Plus, we're an easy drive from anywhere in the New York / New Jersey / Connecticut Tri-State area, with convenient highway access.
At Soons Orchards, we have been growing apples since 1910 and today we have 30 acres with 55+ apple varieties. (We grow 20 varieties of peaches and nectarines too!)
In the winter months, warm up with some mulled hot cider or homemade soup, while ordering up a gourmet fruit basket or gift pack of apples we will mail to your out-of-town friends.
