About
The Farm is a family-owned specialty grocery store and local produce grower based in Hendersonville, North Carolina, a small town in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our goal at The Farm is to share our love of the land and our enthusiasm for farming by growing healthy and delicious fruits, vegetables, and fresh cut flowers.
Mark and Sharon Searcy, owners and opperaters, were born and raised in Henderson County. Having farmed since they were kids, they know a thing or two about vegetables and have accrued an array of tried-and-true farming techniques from their travels around the world, including long-term trips to countries like Haiti and Honduras.
The Farm offers u-pick/we-pick on all of the many fruits and vegetables grown in our fields. Also, in the Country Store, we carry a large assortment of specialty items, including fresh popping corn, homemade jams and jellies, and packaged herb/spice mixes along with recipe cards.
Certified by the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project, The Farm is guaranteed to offer the freshest produce around. All of our fruits and vegetables are grown with a very minimal amount of pesticides and are sold at the best prices in the area.
